On March 15-16 we hosted a Bright Lights Leadership Training at our home.
Here is a partial list of topics we studied:
Leaders
Training Topics
- A Pattern for
Discipleship
- The
Leader’s Responsibility
- Practical Ways to Reach the Hearts of Young
Ladies
- The Unexpected Quality of a Leader
- Leading an Effective
Meeting
- Dealing
with Special Situations
- Applying Key Principles of Ministry
- The
Offense of the Cross
- Rewards
and Demands of the Ministry
The first day of the training we watched prerecorded sessions by Sarah Mally. And we shared many testimonies about how the Lord had worked in our lives and our own Bright Lights groups.
Then on Saturday, Bekah and Hannah drove down to lead the sessions that were not yet prerecorded.
The training was a wonderful time of learning, fellowshiping with like-minded sisters in Christ, practical ideas for ministry, prayer, singing, encouragement, and hearing testimonies about the faithfulness of God.

The Lord receives all the glory! He showed Himself faithful again and again. My prayer for each of the young ladies who attended the training is that they would grow in the knowledge of their LORD and Savior and that they will be able to encourage other young ladies to follow Jesus Christ wholeheartedly!
Thanks for all the work, prayer, and organization that you put into the weekend, Marie! Sound like it was a great time of fellowship and encouragement! Blessings, Sarah
